Throughout the years, I have written numerous projects across different genres, lengths, and audiences. Many of my projects will never see the light of day, and even the ones that I am working on now may never be published. The following stories are some of my most recent writing projects.
Project Merfolk (Temporary Working Title)
Project Merfolk is a Young Adult contemporary fantasy novel. Yoko, a seventeen-year-old merman, has been an outcast among his peers for his entire life, and he is working towards becoming accepted into an elite security team in the Academy of the Royal Guard. When he discovers that he is half-human, everything that he’s ever known changes, and he is forced to deal with the consequences of meeting his birth family. But he does not know how much it will cost him.
Project Merfolk is my most recent fantasy novel. I am currently working on editing this story.
Collection of Biblical Fiction
My Biblical Fiction short stories are meant for middle school aged students to adults. These stories provide a fresh perspective on Biblical stories by focusing on one specific account and retelling it from the perspective of the angel Gabriel. So far, I have written three short stories, two of which are complete. “Wings of Grace” centers around the Christmas story, “Grace Fulfilled” focuses on Jesus’ death and resurrection, and the third short story documents Lucifer’s initial fall from heaven. My hope is to write more of these stories.
